RELAY MODULES
The FireX® relay modules provide installers with the flexibility needed to meet specific application requirements for smoke and carbon monoxide alarm installations.
- Models designed to respond to smoke alarms, CO alarms or both
- Enables security system devices to interact with FireX direct wire powered smoke or carbon monoxide alarms
- Use to turns lights and other devices ON or OFF when alarm is activated and ON or OFF when deactivated
- Fits in most junction boxes
- Connects FireX smoke or carbon monoxide alarms with:
o Lights / Strobe lights
o Sirens
o Exit signals
o Escape lights
o Exhaust fans
o Other auxiliary devices
o One multi-function relay module covers many functions
- Can be interconnected with up to 18 compatible alarms

497 – Remote Interface/Annunciator
- Can be used with most smoke, CO combination smoke/CO and heat alarms
- Allows external normally open contact to sound interconnected alarms
- Fits in most junction boxes
The FireX 497 Remote Interface allows for the sounding of FireX approved smoke alarms upon the activation of a user supplied normally open switch. The switch can be a water flow switch or other external source.
